My name is Sean Bouland and I am an English teacher living in Nice, France. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona and was born and raised in the United States. My passions include playing soccer (football), traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting new people. As a teacher, I really try to provide and encourage a relaxed learning atmosphere in my classes. I am a very relaxed teacher and I enjoy laughing, discussing, and learning about my student's lives. I believe this atmosphere helps students to not only learn English better, but it also encourages them to enjoy the process of learning English. I motivate students to write better and have a transparent thought process to improve writing. I have done B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from Amity University, Mumbai. I have worked as a Digital Marketer for two years and then moved to France to pursue my Masters. With students and college applications, we discuss at length to understand students’ thought processes, and then I assist students in writing independently. I work as a teacher, mentor, and guide, and at the end of the session, the student himself/herself. I help students improve vocabulary building, and after a few sessions in a month, students will have started to speak English with less hesitation and have gained confidence.
