My name is Sean Bouland and I am an English teacher living in Nice, France. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona and was born and raised in the United States. My passions include playing soccer (football), traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting new people. As a teacher, I really try to provide and encourage a relaxed learning atmosphere in my classes. I am a very relaxed teacher and I enjoy laughing, discussing, and learning about my student's lives. I believe this atmosphere helps students to not only learn English better, but it also encourages them to enjoy the process of learning English. My teaching style is very focused and involved. I not only teach my students English concepts but also strategies in order to help them be successful outside the classroom. I engage my students to participate in their learning in order to empower them in their success. I also use several different types of mediums to teach my students from videos to online articles to actual objects. I fully in making the learning experience as real and authentic as possible.
