Hi, I am a French native teacher with an MA in Languages, good experience in teaching, and also a good knowledge of educational systems different from the French one (I studied for 1 year in the US). My home is in Normandy but I regularly travel to Paris to teach. I have strong connections with my students, and all of them improve their conversational skills and develop a love for the language. I began teaching French at the secondary level as a French language assistant in Northern Ireland. I specialized in A-level preparation and essay writing. Then, I became a French lecturer at the University of Bath in the UK, specializing in spoken French, grammar, and exam preparation for two years. I then took up tutoring for a more personalized approach. I have a lot of experience in spoken French, A-levels, and AS-levels preparation, teaching grammar, DALF, and DELF preparation. I have also coached students to obtain their TCF B2. I have a wide range of students, from primary school children to retired people, and I love adapting to them all! CERTIFICATIONS - Training with Alliance française in teaching Mediation, Reception, Production, and Interaction - Training with Alliance française in teaching grammar TEACHING METHOD With me, a typical lesson is structured around conversation and three or four activities based on your needs. The atmosphere is laid back so that you have the best conditions to express yourself. I use documents from a real French context to familiarize you with the language, and lots of games! My qualifications in FLE (French as a foreign language) from the Alliance française will guarantee you sound methodological lessons, following the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Moreover, I have first-hand experience with French A-levels and can guarantee support with spoken French and French essays for AS and A-levels. All my lessons are personalized and based on your needs, whether you are looking for support in your French journey or need specific help with school. Although I will adapt the pace to your needs, I will also make sure you progress in your practice of French by setting a lesson routine including vocabulary and grammar, and regular homework (if wanted!). All my lessons are based on Google Docs I send you before class and that you can keep afterward.
