The teaching is good and easy to understand.
I specialize in the two key sections which are the Reading & Writing section which includes reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, etc and the Math section. i also specialize in preparing students to take cognitive abilities tests.
I have developed a detailed approach to preparing students for various exams and will discuss with each student prior to the first session.
I am continually reviewing test types and formats and always use the current version as the basis for each student’s learning.
My teaching methodology centers on determining what style of learning fits best with each student. It could be auditory, kinesthetic, visual, spatial, verbal, etc.
This can be provided prior to the first session.
Through a series of grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing exercises.
I use the materials that I have incorporated into each lesson plan. This consists of topic relates teachings, activities, videos, online materials and white board sessions.
Each student will learn the key elements of writing, what each topic should include, and then I build in progressive vocabulary and grammar rules and have them incorporate these into the writing assignments.
Each lesson will have specific vocabulary and grammar rules that will build upon the previous session.
Yes
I cover each component of essay writing separately. These include an introduction, developing a clear thesis, logical body paragraphs, a meaningful conclusion and wrap up of ideas.
I focus on phonemes, phonetic transcription, speaking slowly and clearly, proper enunciation and articulation.
One strategy I use is teaching the 7 key active listening skills: be attentive, ask open ended questions, ask probing questions, request clarification, paraphrase, reflect feelings, summarize.
By making each session different, fun, challenging and achievable.
