I have been under the tutelage of Mr. Akshay Kumar for the past 3 years. He has tutored me in subjects pertaining to microeconomics, macroeconomics both beginner and intermediate level as well as the mathematical subjects of economics namely econometrics and statistical methods for economics. Akshay sir has a very strong background in economics and has taught the subjects in a very methodological and analytical manner. The teaching methodology he follows is commendable and all the complex topics pertaining to the subject are broken down into simple and easy to comprehend methods by him. He is very understanding and has a very calm demeanor to understand the doubts and queries of the students. I have had numerous occasions where he has made the understanding of the subject crystal clear for me and ignited the interest in the subject beyond the curriculum too. His teaching has been extremely thorough and a very systematic approach to the topics that he has taught me.
