Dear Sir/Madam,

Please accept this letter and the attached resume as an indication of my sincere interest in the position of an English teacher at your esteemed school. With years of teaching experience and Cambridge's CELTA certification (attained in June 2019), I believe I am well-placed to contribute to the objectives of your school in helping students learn English.

I have over three years of professional experience in teaching students from 6 to 45 years old. Most recently in Turkey, I taught students aged 6 to 15 years old at a public (government) school and frequently provided private tutoring lessons to adults. Currently, I am teaching primary school children in Bangkok. I have built a good rapport with the students and create an environment where they feel encouraged yet challenged to participate and learn more. During the CELTA course, I taught students of pre-intermediate and upper-intermediate levels and applied state-of-the-art teaching techniques and methodologies. In Switzerland, I taught students from diverse backgrounds and levels of English proficiency.

Having lived in four countries (Pakistan, Switzerland, Turkey, and Bangkok) and extensively traveled in Western Europe, I appreciate the importance of the English language as a means of communication in business and leisure. Therefore, my teaching methods focus on giving students practical techniques and tools to operate in different contexts.
