I have taught English for almost 9 years and I am trained with the communicative teaching method, a method that I am eager and excited to share and that will help engage every student to participate in practical, interactive and student-centered activities. I designed my lessons creatively so the students can work in pairs and in groups as well as moving around the classroom and to carefully integrate these lessons to speaking, grammar, listening, reading and writing and to technology, a very stimulating tool for learning. Thus, I allowed my students to experience real communication in the classroom to improve their accuracy and fluency despite the language barrier. Having worked abroad, I understand both the cultural differences and challenge each individual can encounter. In my classes, I’ve always encouraged my students to be open to new challenges such as embracing and learning a new language and culture to deepen their global awareness and to also compete internationally.
