Hi there!
I'm Jenn, a TEFL-certified native english speaker. I am a New Zealander, in Marseille, and I am here to help you improve your English. Together, we can work to improve your English grammar, listening, reading, writing & speaking skills. Whatever your needs, I can help you become more comfortable and confident with the English language.

I have tutored students before at many ages, from primary school to university students. I believe it is important to enjoy the learning process, and so I like to keep lessons fun and relaxing, whatever your age.

I have also been working in an international business environments for the past 6 years in Amsterdam. I also provide private lessons for tutoring business english. This will help you to prepare for the world of international business in English. We can work on interview, presentation & public speaking skills specifically for the business context.

I have lived in many cities all over the world, including Singapore, Edinburgh and Amsterdam. I have also learnt many languages including chinese, dutch and now french. This means that I understand the language learning process, both in english and other languages. This means I am very empathetic and understanding towards the challenges you may face and how we can get past them.

I believe that students must enjoy a language to truly absorb it. I also believe students must feel comfortable and safe enough to participate. My methodology will depend on the needs of the students (grammar, listening skills etc). However, I have some principals I always try to follow. In all of my lesson plans, I try to use material that is relevant and interesting to the student. Read less
