My name is Zaakirah Bawa, I am 30 years old and have 8 years teaching experience. I am based in Gardens, Cape Town. I am a Montessori qualified, SACE (South African Council For Educators) registered educator who encompasses the Montessori ethos within the CAPS/Cambridge curriculum in order to educate learners beyond what they are “meant” to learn. I am also a certified school readiness assessor registered with the HPCSA.

Currently, I am an assistant teacher at one of the top Cambridge schools in Cape Town. I am a distinction level tertiary student and life-long learner. I aim to keep up with the latest methods in education while utilising tried and tested methodolgy simultaneously. Teaching is my life’s calling and passion and nothing brings me greater joy than to assist learners with holistic growth and developmental aspects.
