I have been a classroom teacher for 25 years and have designed highly successful courses in French, Spanish, and other languages, as well as ESL, mathematics, teaching methodologies, and research methods for university and graduate level students. My teaching style revolves around discovering how each student learns and collaborating with them to develop tricks, strategies, and routines that will support their academic success in a way that is unique to them. I aim to teach students how to effectively communicate in a new language and excel in mathematics, but our approach is not about me imposing specific methods on them. Instead, it revolves around them sharing their needs with me, so that together we can find an effective learning approach. Adopting this approach will not only result in good grades but will also provide lifelong skills in how to learn anything effectively. While I primarily work in southern Vermont, I am also available to travel to southwestern New Hampshire and western Massachusetts. Lire moins
