I have recently completed a PGCE, which has provided myself with the opportunity to teach groups of various ages and backgrounds. By working with students of different ability levels, my teaching toolkit has focused on stretching and challenging high achieving students as well as segmenting tasks into smaller, achievable chunks to those who require more time.
