Q: How do you ensure that learners are prepared for standardized exams or assessments in economics?

If the student has an upcoming exam, we will start preparing at least 4 weeks prior reviewing all material and then i will administer practice exams under the same conditions as the main exam and follow it with a review of all sections and answers.

Q: How do you incorporate ethical considerations into your lessons when teaching economic theories and concepts?

If the topic has an ethical component to it, then I will discuss the ethical situation with the student and then proceed to consider all possible outcomes depending on various courses of action.

Q: How do you ensure that learners are able to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained in the training to their personal or professional lives?

I am continually checking the student’s level of understanding with regard to the topics during our discussions, but also through homework assignments, quizzes and end of topic tests.

Q: What are some of the current economic issues that you are particularly passionate about and how do you incorporate them into your lessons?

I am particularly interested in how the BRICS nations will develop and implement their agenda and how they will implement their apparent plan to displace the US dollar as the petrodollar.

Q: What is your policy on providing guidance on career paths or further education opportunities in economics?

In addition to tutoring, I am also a certified Career Counselor, certified Career Analyst and Google certified Education Coach. I can, if requested, provide guidance, career counseling and discuss myriad opportunities within economics.

Q: What is the expected duration of the training and how many sessions will be required?

This is dependent upon each student’s abilities and goals.

Q: How do you incorporate local or regional economic issues into your lessons?

I cover macroeconomics and microeconomics as well as regional issues and specific economic situations.

Q: How do you provide opportunities for learners to engage in discussions and ask questions?

Each session is a open dialogue with both questions posed and questions answered by myself and the student.

Q: What topics will be covered in the economics tuition?

This will be discussed with each student prior to the first session and agreed upon and have the lesson plans built around these topics.
