The most crucial thing about learning economics is to understand thoroughly the most basic and easiest concepts, as all other complicated topics are always based on fundamental ideas. Students often overlook the easy part and focus on the difficult part. If you truly want to understand how to work out economic problems, it's important you understand everything thoroughly and teaching students approach to understanding economics has always been my most simple but effective teaching methodology.
