I have been an on-site and online private tutor for over 10 years, tutoring mathematics, physics, and computer science subjects from secondary to graduate level. My students come from prestigious boarding schools, colleges, and universities, such as Concord College, Tonbridge School, Queen Ethelburga's College (UK), Milton Academy (USA), German Swiss International School, Hong Kong International School, Canadian International School, Singapore International School (HK), University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong (HK), Royal Holloway - University of London, Cass Business School (UK), and Harvey Mudd College (USA). I have earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics & Communication. I have completed a PGDIE Course in International Education from Birmingham City University. I have had the opportunity to teach students of the IB Diploma Program (HL/SL), CIE AS and A Level, IGCSE curriculum in Singapore. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualized support, and integrating effective materials. I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulative and hands-on activities. By incorporating class discussions, open-ended questions, and cooperative learning, I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive class atmosphere. Additionally, I utilise weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness, and prepare students for final exams.

I obtained a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley (Ranked #8 in World University Ranking, 2025), and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University. I am a Physics tutor for public exams including the IGCSE, IB, and GCE A Level. For more ambitious students, I offer tutoring in SAT subject tests in Math and Physics, as well as AP exams in Calculus, Physics, and Statistics. With over 8 years of tutoring experience, I have taught over 170 students from various international schools such as HKIS, KGV, Canadian International School, Island School, German Swiss International School. For tutoring lessons, I travel to most districts in Hong Kong. I also teach online lessons using Zoom if that is the student's preferred mode of learning.

Hello! I am an experienced Head of Department and Online Tutor based in the UK, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at GCSE, and Biology and Physics at A-level. I have a wealth of teaching and exam resources and a solid track record of improving student results. I also tutor General Science and Mathematics at KS3. After completing A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (all grade A), I began my B.Sc in Biology at the Queen’s University of Belfast, graduating with First Class Honours. Prior to teaching, I worked in food disease research and then the food retail sector, in both product quality and safety, as well as procurement. After several years, I changed career into teaching, completing my PGCE in Physics at King’s College London. Despite my lack of teaching experience at the time, my passion for Physics, for inspiring student learning, use of real-life applications, and focus on exam technique showed that I was the right person for the job. My dedication to raising the profile and attainment of Physics, not only in my own lessons but in the wider department, resulted in my official promotion to Head of Physics. In this capacity, I continued to drive progress throughout the department through the sharing of best practice with non-specialist teachers and the department as a whole. As well as improving academic progress each year, I developed the school’s STEM opportunities through extracurricular Crest awards and organized a residential trip to CERN in Geneva, where students had the opportunity to see one of the particle accelerators up close. My success in inspiring students and colleagues alike and my continued improvement in student academic progress saw me promoted to Head of Science the following year. I am also an examiner for a UK exam board.
